To keep your water bills as low as possible and use only the water you need, check your plumbing system now to be sure it's water tight! A self water audit is a fast and easy way  to determine whether or not your plumbing has leaks.

Remember, even a small leak can waste several gallons of water an hour which will increase your water bill. Here are a few ways to make sure your plumbing is water tight.

One of the easist ways of determining if you have any leaks is to check your meter. First take a reading of your water meter. Wait an hour, making sure no one uses any water. Check it again. If the reading has changed, you've got at least one leak.

If you have a leak check:

  • Toilets
  • Faucets
  • Outdoors

By Regularly checking leaks you can avoid a potential problem, and help save water. Make water conservation a way of life, it saves money and water!
